Flushing, MI –Shooting the highest score of any U.S. woman in history, 14 year-old Casey Kaufhold took center stage at the 2018 U.S. National Indoor Championships in Lancaster, Pennsylvania while shooting a Carbon Express Nano SST arrow. Combining two unprecedented days of shooting with respective scores of 578 and 584 Kaufhold set an astonishing new Senior Female Recurve 18M National Record score of 1162.   This incredible feat, tops the previous senior, junior and cadet national records with a highest score of 1159 shot by an Olympic athlete. “Casey continues to make her mark in archery.  As a youth she has been consistently impressive but as her goals have grown so has her ability. Congratulations to her for shooting a National Record, and thank you for showing the world the capabilities of our Recurve Tri-Spine arrows,” said Carbon Express Pro Staff Manager, Paul Penix. 

Casey has tightly wound a series of impressive accomplishments on the range including a position on the World Archery Youth Championships team in 2017 and finishing first in the cadet rankings for the 2018 U.S. Archery Team.  While continuing to prove that age does not equal ability, Casey is stoked with ambition and has set her sights on several additional events in 2018 including the U.S. National Indoor Championships Final as well as the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.   Her accomplishments come by way of the combination of hard work, the right equipment and a positive attitude.
