Hall of Fame Angler and In-Fisherman Editor In Chief Doug Stange leads In-Fisherman staff members on a quest for fishing action from across North America. The show format is a byproduct of the widely popular In-Fisherman magazine, which focuses on the pursuit of everything that swims in freshwater and near-shore coastal waters, although core species continue to be bass, walleyes, pike, muskies, catfish, panfish, trout, and salmon. In-Fisherman often steps beyond those species to fish for carp, gar, sturgeon, redfish, tarpon, and stripers.
Powerpole National Redfish Tour (Tuesdays, 8:30 p.m. ET): The Power-Pole National Redfish Tour highlights the sport of competitive redfishing at the highest level.
Fifty Places to Fish Before You Die (Tuesdays, 9 p.m. ET): WFN brings the powerful print fishing brand to the screen with Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die, taking viewers to some of the world's premiere fly fishing destinations. Hosted by Conway Bowman, this show visits the locations, meets the anglers featured in the book, and provides insider knowledge of each setting. Viewers will explore the history of the fishery, its cultural attributes, geography – and come away inspired to gear up and pack their bags for a new adventure.
Bottom Feeders (Tuesdays, 9:30 p.m. ET): Bottom Feeders is a weekly series following the lives and struggles of commercial fishermen up and down the Mississippi River. Each week highlights three teams of commercial fisherman as they work throughout all four seasons to bring in the big haul and put food on the table for their families. Their target is a freshwater fish that anglers rarely catch and never want. These commercial fishermen are the canaries in the cave, most times finding devastating invasive species even before the DNR and helping to stop the spread of these species which threaten the sport fishing market.
