Last fiscal year, Whitetails Unlimited granted $88,979 to various mission related projects in the state of Minnesota. This is due in large part to the 30 chapters WTU has located across the state. The chapters range in location from Spring Grove in the southeast corner to Warroad on the south side of Lake of the Woods and everywhere in between. This accomplishment could not be done without the help of the many volunteers that donate their time toward the mission of Whitetails Unlimited.
The majority of the grants awarded in Minnesota fall within WTU’s Staying on Target program which helps to advance shooting sports. WTU works closely with various shooting sport programs such as NASP, SCTP, S3DA, and USA Clay Target League. Each program continues to prove that youth and adults who take up shooting sports often progress to become hunters.
