Leica Commemorates 25 Years of Pioneering Rangefinding Products

In 1992, Leica dramatically changed the sport optics landscape with the introduction of the first laser rangefinding binocular, heralding the arrival of not only an innovative new product, but an entirely new product category. To commemorate that milestone, Leica unveils special edition Geovid HD-B rangefinding binoculars and a special edition Rangemaster CRF 2000-B compact rangefinder.

Clad in a special edition green rubber armoring and available in 8x42 and 10x42 models, the Geovid HD-B Edition 2017 delivers precise LoS ranging from 10 to 2,200 yards and pristine Leica optical performance. The integrated onboard multi-functional ballistics computer quickly and reliably delivers accurate shooting data, while also enabling users to upload their own ballistics preferences via the included microSD card. Edition 2017 Geovid HD-B models also come with a distinctive, special edition carry case in loden green.

The Rangemaster CRF 2000-B Edition 2017, armored in limited edition green rubber, features precision LoS ranging from 10 to 2,000 yards plus onboard ballistics functionality, which delivers accurate shooting solutions to 1,200 yards at the press of a button. Vital shooting data includes linear distance, Equivalent Horizontal Range, holdover correction, and click/MOA adjustments -- including MOA in decimals.

Fueled by a passion to continually improve the experience for hunters and shooters, Leica engineers have consistently sought to break new ground in laser rangefinding advances over the past quarter century. The special 2017 Edition Geovid HD-B and Rangemaster CRF 2000-B models reflect the very best in technology and engineering to deliver unprecedented performance.
