NBEF Board Welcomes Barb Terry & Jeff Rawlinson

Rapid City, South Dakota, October 8, 2016 -- It is with great pleasure that the National Bowhunter Education Foundation (NBEF) welcomes, with unanimous nomination, Ms. Barb Terry and Jeff Rawlinson to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Terry has been employed by TenPoint Crossbows in their Marketing Department where she is involved with training & education, dealer seminars, customer relations, catalog and owner's manual development as well as hunter education for the past 20 years. She is proficient with, and hunts with, firearms including pistol, longbow and of course the crossbow. Barb brings a new and fresh perspective on the use of crossbows to the board and will be instrumental in the development of the NBEF's crossbow curriculum as well as adding valuable input to its current programs.

Jeff is the Education Manager in the Communications Division with Game and Parks where he has worked for the last 15 years. He oversees the Hunter Education, Boater Education, Hunter Outreach and Shooting Range Development for the Commission and is a devout hunter, angler, wildlife viewer and naturalist. He has been a Hunter Education Instructor for over 20 years, NRA firearms instructor and range officer, National Archery in the Schools Program Archery Instructor Specialist and member of the National NASP Board, sits on the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Hunter Recruitment and Retention Committee and Education Committee. Jeff is an avid handgun and bow hunter.
