Superior, WI — A good bowfishing kit is a convenient way to get out on the water quickly. A great bowfishing kit, however, delivers not just convenience, but also makes for more enjoyable, more effective shooting.
Fortunately, the bowfishing experts at Muzzy have introduced just such a package in the new Vice bowfishing kit, which includes everything bowfishermen need to start impaling scales.
It all starts with the widely-adjustable 30-inch axle-to-axle Vice bow designed specifically to withstand long days and nights on the water. The Vice comes set at a base weight of 45 pounds and a draw length of 29 inches, but an onboard draw module provides draw-length adjustment from 24.5 to 30- inches in half-inch increments to fit shooters of all sizes and skill levels. The dual-cam system offers draw-weight adjustment from 25 to 55 pounds within seven turns of the adjustable limb bolts, while the easy drawing and silky-smooth cams feature deep grooves to prevent derailing. Weighing a slight 3.8 pounds, the Vice boasts a forgiving 7.5-inch brace height and features 75- percent let off! The Vice is available for right-hand shooters only.
Also included in the Vice bowfishing kit is Muzzy’s XD Pro Reel. This durable stainless-steel spin-style reel offers an integrated reel seat and is pre-spooled with 150 feet of 150-pound line. The XD Pro features a smooth, easy-to-use activation system with effortlessly-smooth line feed, which makes for impressive accuracy and easy retrieval.
An included Fish Hook arrow rest gives the shooter total confidence even in the toughest bowfishing conditions. A unique design places the line in a groove under the arrow and provides three-sided arrow capture, making it virtually impossible for the arrow to come off the rest, yet still allows for quick arrow loading.
A fiberglass arrow tipped with Muzzy’s Quick-Release Carp Point, a longtime favorite of bowfishermen features a specially designed Carp Tip, to deliver excellent penetration on soft-fleshed fish. The Carp Point offers a rugged stainless-steel ferrule and to release a fish, the user simply turns the tip twice, allowing the barbs to fold back for a quick and easy release.
Finally, the Vice kit includes Muzzy’s ultra-comfortable — and finger-saving — green glove-free rubber finger guards, which make for accurate shooting even with wet hands.
Packed with features and outfitted with quality accessories, the Vice is a bowfishing must-have for 2018. The Muzzy Vice bowfishing kit retails for $299.99.
