Salt Lake City, UT - Easton Technical Products®, the industry leader in innovative arrows and archery equipment, launches new Easton brand logo geared specifically toward the hunting market.
The history of the Easton brand dates back to the 1920's when Doug Easton used the geometric outline of his precisely handcrafted broadheads to create the first arrow logo for his fledgling company. That logo became the legendary "Diamond" Easton mark. Over the next 70 years the Easton logo underwent various changes as the simple diamond logo evolved into the "Diamond E" and became renowned throughout the world as the ultimate symbol of precise accuracy in archery arrows. In the 1990's, the brand was refreshed again for the new century with a forward-looking feel and emphasis on a bold statement for serious technology-based sporting equipment.
For 2013 Easton has announced an all-new Easton logo that will be used on the full line of Easton's hunting arrows, accessories, and soft goods. Shane Michelli, Easton President, said "We collaborated with professionals from all areas of the hunting market and outdoor industry to look at our brand and identify opportunities as we look to take Easton to the next level. This culminated with a major marketing summit meeting- and the result was our new brand identity for hunting." One of the main items identified by the collaborative effort was that a mark geared more toward the hunting enthusiast was needed. Easton's design team took the feedback and worked to balance the goal of keeping brand equity and recognition, but at the same time address the objectives identified by the team. "Ultimately I feel like our marketing team met the goal of creating a logo that will speak to and connect with the hunter." Michelli continued, "The new look captures the essence of the outdoors that runs first and foremost in the hunting DNA that is the Easton legacy."
The new Easton hunting logo will be implemented across the entire Easton hunting product line including arrow shafts, hunting soft goods and hunting clothing. The familiar Easton corporate logo will continue unchanged for recreational and target archery products.
