Outdoor Stewards’ Executive Director Jim Curcuruto Featured on HeadHunters NW and Soul Seekers Podcasts

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – October 21, 2024 – Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation (OSCF) has experienced a significant year in 2024, expanding its impactful programs such as ComeWith!, Fill A Bag While Filling Your Tag, Connecting with Conservation and Donate a Deer. OSCF is also working to improve the cultural acceptance of gun ownership, hunting, fishing, trapping and target shooting to further establish its role as a leading nonprofit in the outdoor and conservation space.

In an effort to keep the community informed about OSCF’s initiatives, Executive Director Jim Curcuruto is making appearances on various podcasts.

Curcuruto recently joined Shaylene Keiner on episode 34 of HeadHunters NW Podcast. The discussion focused on the importance of having dedicated board members, the significance of industry and agency relations and the meeting that led to the development of OSCF's “Keepers of the Wild” Public Service Announcement campaign. Listeners can also learn about current opportunities to be involved with OSCF in this dynamic episode.

Following this, Curcuruto appeared on episode 279 of the Soul Seekers Podcast with host Johnny Mack. They explored the question of recruiting the next generation of hunters and emphasized the need for Hunters, Anglers, Trappers, Shooters (HATS) to better communicate their positive contributions to society. The episode also highlighted OSCF’s latest research on ensuring the firearms industry welcomes new target shooters who have yet to fully commit to the sport and culture.
